My Role

What I did

I was the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and go to for mobile best practices.

I managed the team members to help streamline collaboration between our co-located dev teams for both platforms Android and iOS.

I worked on streamlining and organizing the design team(s) work, wire-framing, building out a sticker sheets (component/pattern library), working with the Creative team (UI) on the brand elements, and helping the product owners make data-based decisions.

I kept our design sprints part of the SCRUM framework ahead at least 2 to 4 weeks design-ready (where design is NOT officially called out) so we could work closely with development, in step during the product design and build.

<aside> đź’ˇ While this was very manual, my work list status whiteboard was very successful and helped us all stay on the same page literally. This is how I think, it's never about a tool as much as a simple process that everyone is bought in to and collaborating on. This was created post Audit of the existing app as a means to get us working quickly.
